Salon Privé and AXA XL have embarked on a new sponsorship agreement for the world-renowned luxury and classic car event, the Salon Privé Concours d’Elégance.

The five-year agreement marks a significant partnership, which will ensure the Salon Privé Concours d’Elégance remains one of the most prestigious classic car events in the world.

Salon Privé Chairman Andrew Bagley commented: “We are thrilled to welcome AXA XL to the roster of world-class partnership brands at Salon Privé. Now in its 15th year, Salon Privé continues to attract the world’s best automotive brands, the world’s best classic car collectors and some of the biggest partnership deals ever witnessed in the concours world. Combine this with what can only be described as the world’s best concours venue, Blenheim Palace, and the unwavering support of our Patron, His Grace, the 12th Duke of Marlborough, and this is exactly what makes the Concours d’Elégance a world-leading event.”

Simon Mobey, Head of Private Clients at AXA XL, added: “We are delighted to be involved with Salon Privé as sponsor of the Concours d’Elégance. As the stand-out luxury automotive event in the UK, this event is a perfect fit for AXA XL, given our role in providing exceptional bespoke personal insurance solutions for the finest car collections, homes, art and jewellery worldwide. We look forward to being part of the continued successful growth of Salon Privé.”

First established by Andrew and David Bagley in 2004, the Salon Privé Concours d’Elégance has gone from strength to strength, showcasing everything from rare bespoke classics through to the latest and rarest prestige and performance cars. The event continues to attract an increasing portfolio of world-renowned luxury and lifestyle brands, incorporating everything from jewellery to executive jets and fine art. A record number of new cars were debuted in 2019, underpinning the importance of the event to the luxury car sector, as an international media platform and gateway to its target audience. Well-known luxury marques such as Bentley and Rolls-Royce presented new models for the first time in Europe, alongside specialist / niche manufacturers such as Austro Daimler from Austria, Jannarelly from Dubai, Rimac from Croatia, Pininfarina from Germany and Tushek from Slovenia. 2020 looks set for some equally exciting and spectacular new launches.

More details, including Class categorisations for the event, will follow in the coming months.

Tickets are currently on sale and available at www.salonpriveconcours.com.
