I suppose if you’re fanatical about motor cars, driving and all the technical aspects of motoring and aspects of the mechanical machine too.  If added to that you have a passion to explore the capabilities of both man and machine together with the love of travel, it’s important to find a way to harness and channel all those things into one discipline. There are not too many events where two people can compete together as one ‘on track’.  About the only form of motorsport where two people are pushed to the limit of their particular talents is rallying, with Kieron being very thorough and detailed and expert at navigation and my forte of driving.  We both have an appetite for adventurous travel, so endurance rallying seems to tick all our boxes.
