December 16, 2018Sir Frank Williams – Addicted to Racing – Sample issue
There are those individuals in many walks of life who define their particular line of business or passion. In our sport, motor racing, a handful of individuals have risen to the very pinnacle from quite lowly beginnings. They’ve fought through the tortuous twists and desperate turns, tasted the very highs and suffered incredible lows, but continue to strive for perfection.
On more than one occasion, Sir Frank Williams has certainly tasted both the sweetness of success, the bitter pill of defeat and indeed tragedy as team manager. Despite the blight of personal injury he’s remained, like a great captain of a ship, the steadying figure at the helm of his very British, but truly international ship, steering through the rough seas of Formula One for over 50 years.
In this interview given to Mike Jiggle, AT were able gain an insight into the world of this truly remarkable man.
