ABOUT AUTO TRADITION

What can you expect from each seasonal edition? Due to the wealth of experience gained by the Auto Tradition team, many of the legendary drivers, designers and team members are well known and accessible to us. Each member of the team has a vast and uniquely personal archive stretching back almost to the dawn of motoring, which we are all willing to share with our readers.

Auto Tradition was born, Phoenix like, out of the withdrawal and decline of print magazines over the current trend of digital magazines. There are those enthusiasts of classic/historic/vintage road and racing cars who are of a certain age and their world doesn’t revolve around the digital era that seems to have been thrust upon us in a very short period of time. It’s the stir to the senses that keeps the printed magazine high on the agenda of such enthusiasts; the feel, the smell, and overall delight in turning from one page to the next with all the excitement of a child opening presents on Christmas Day that endures.

Like most businesses, Auto Tradition will be supported by modern digital methods including a website and social media, but the magazine itself is typically ‘old school’ in both style and content. Whilst appealing to those of a certain age, there is a freshness about the presentation of the publication that will attract many from all generations.

Through our advertisers and valued supporters we have a great number of vehicles available for profile and research purposes too. Combine all these attributes together and you can easily see that the enthusiastic nature of the team is very infectious to like minded readers. Put simply, Auto Tradition is created by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.

Nostalgia transports us all back to an age of golden memories. Our aim and objective is to bring our readers’ world of motoring and motor racing closer to them as we journey from era to era, issue by issue.

In February 2021, Auto Tradition launched ‘Racing Spirit’, a 60-page, bi-monthly periodical, published from February to October and the original ‘Auto Tradition’ magazine became a 180-page Yearbook, which saw us through the Covid years.

From April 2023, against a background of financial cuts, we have reinstated our original publication, but now as a smaller staple bound magazine, which is to be published quarterly, alongside quarterly editions of Racing Spirit that contains all the latest news, reports and reviews from the worlds of historic motor racing and motoring.

At the core, our editorial team remains committed in bringing you what many now appreciate as being amongst the best titles published.

We trust you’ll continue to enjoy our future offerings.
